Herbert, a former NFL player, just announced his return to the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame as a part of their 2020 induction class. The news came as a surprise to many, as Herbert hadn’t appeared in the league since the mid-1990s. But after a couple of years out of the spotlight, Herbert is now looking to make a triumphant return to the Chargers Hall of Fame.
Herbert played for the San Diego Chargers from 1993-1995, and although he spent the majority of his career with the Chargers, he also had stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Buffalo Bills. He was a reliable offensive lineman and a respected leader on the team, but injuries eventually forced him out of the league. After his retirement, Herbert stayed away from football, but he never lost his connection to the Chargers.

Herbert is now set to be inducted into the San Diego Chargers Hall of Fame in 2020. He will be joining a long list of distinguished players that have gone before him, including several Pro Football Hall of Famers.
